Timothy Kim
Senior Loan Officer and founding member of the Renewable Energy & Environmental Finance Division at US Export-Import Bank.
Timothy Kim is a Senior Loan Officer and founding member of the Renewable Energy & Environmental Finance Division at US Export-Import Bank. In this capacity, he originates and structures credits across the broad spectrum of the industry including solar, wind, gasification and biomass. To date, Timothy has closed more than sixty international transactions, with an aggregate total of over $3 billion across the public and private sectors.
Previously, he worked in the Bank's Trade Finance Division, where he underwrote sovereign and corporate deals in the oil and gas, mining, agriculture and infrastructure sectors. His past experience also includes structuring project finance transactions at KfW IPEX-Bank (Power, Water and Utilities), and managing private equity deals as an Investment Manager at Connective Capital GmbH, both in Frankfurt, Germany.
Timothy completed graduate studies at The Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, DC, where he received a Master of Arts in International Economics. He is also a graduate of New York University (NYU) where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History.
